also this isn't a UNSC jail cell and that's really goddamned strange
and also also none of his armor's systems are working properly and that's pretty unheard of considering they'd been fixed at least a week ago when he was brought in, and this bullet wound is suddenly amazingly painful without the anesthetic. Which is why he's sweating a little, tugging his helmet off and putting his back to a wall.
Logical explanation for all this. Right.
